Steve is an investor coach with Mathies Financial Partners.

He initially started his career in the investment services industry working for a large broker-dealer and life insurance company in Colorado Springs. This provided him the opportunity to see how a company that focused on selling products versus providing financial coaching and planning operated. In an effort to find a company that fit his personal investment philosophy, he connected with Mathies Financial Partners.

He comes to Mathies Financial Partners with a 20-year history of being an independent business owner and manager. He holds his master’s degree in counseling from Regent University and spent much of his life helping at-risk youth and their parents be successful in their communities. This passion for helping people translates well into his career with Mathies Financial Partners, where he helps families move toward financial peace of mind.

In his personal time, Steve enjoys dancing West Coast Swing, two-step and other country swing style dances. He also enjoys spending time in the Colorado Rockies hiking, biking and enjoying nature.
